Privacy policy
Plain English, no dark patterns. This explains what we collect when you use this site, how we use it, and the promises we make about it — the most important being that we do not sell your data.
Effective July 1, 2026
// the short version
- We collect the contact details you give us through our forms, plus basic website analytics.
- We use them to send you what you asked for, respond to you, and for our own marketing follow-up.
- We never sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data at any time — just email us.
Who we are
This site is operated by The Mad Botter INC, a US-based software consultancy. When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “our,” it means The Mad Botter INC. If you have any questions about your data, email [email protected].
Information we collect
We only collect what we need to do business with you:
- Information you give us. When you fill out a form on this site — requesting the Claude on Azure one-pager, running the AI Data Access Blueprint, or contacting us — we collect what you type: typically your name, work email, company, and any details you choose to include.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use analytics and visitor-identification tools that record standard technical data — such as pages viewed, referring links, approximate location, browser and device type, and (for business visitors) the company associated with your network.
The Blueprint self-assessment is scored on our server and returned to you by email; we intentionally ask you not to submit controlled, regulated, or customer data through it.
How we use your information
- To deliver the report, one-pager, or booking link you requested.
- To respond to your questions and follow up about a possible engagement.
- For our own marketing. We may use your information to send you relevant updates, offers, and content from The Mad Botter, and to improve how we reach people like you. Every marketing email includes a way to opt out.
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not trade it to data brokers, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing. The information you give us is used by The Mad Botter for the purposes described in this policy — nothing more.
When we share information
We share your information only in these limited cases:
- Service providers. Vendors who help us run the business — for example our email-delivery provider and our website analytics tools — process data on our behalf and only to provide their service to us.
- Legal requirements. If required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfer. If the business is ever merged or acquired, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality and for analytics that tell us how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect how parts of the site work.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to serve you and for our legitimate business and legal purposes. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove what identifies you. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message, or by emailing us.
- Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- Opt out of having your information used for marketing.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we'll take care of it. We won't discriminate against you for making a request.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but we work to keep your data protected and limit access to it.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. When we do, we'll revise the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
