What does the verdict actually contain?
One page. Every item you list comes back marked supported, needs a scoped driver, or out of scope, with a line of reasoning for each — plus how your environment constraints are handled and, if you run the pilot, which line we would start with and the acceptance test we would propose.
Is this really free, and is there a catch?
It is free and there is no payment step. A senior engineer spends the time because the verdict is the honest way to find out whether there is a project here — for both of us. You keep it whether or not we ever talk.
Do I have to take a call to get it?
No. The verdict arrives by email. A green verdict comes with a link to schedule the First Line Pilot call if you want it, and there is no follow-up sequence beyond the verdict itself.
How long does it take?
Two business days from submission. It is written by an engineer against the supported-equipment matrix, not generated.
What if my equipment is old, undocumented, or on paper today?
That is the normal case and it is worth listing. Serial devices, unlabelled PLCs, and processes that are a clipboard today all get the same three-status treatment — "on paper today" is an option on the form.
We are air-gapped and under export control. Can we even do this?
